hello everyone. I had my j-pouch surgeries in 2004 with no serious issues once appropriate pouchitis meds established. Lately I have a lot of belly aches after eating. No changes in diet. I get bloated and have belly aches. The aching actually feels like cramps of my female organs back in the day when I was still having a cycle. Any ideas? Thx.

1) Are you noticing any more gas than before this pain started?
2) Is the pain associated with a need to poop?
3) Are there any other symptoms, like nausea?
Thx Scott. Maybe a little more gas than normal. No feeling of needing to poop. No other symptoms. One thing that I have noticed over time is that when I have a pouchitis flare, my symptoms seem to be different than they used to be. Maybe this is just another flare with ever changing symptoms. Normally I would just have gas and urgency. Not stomach ache. Guess I just need to go see my doc.
Are you on any meds (especially new ones)?
