There isn't much on the forum about mitigating the stench us K pouchers produce, and it's been a very annoying situation for me. Here are two suggestions, thanks to the stoma nurse and some googling.
One can control the odor by ingesting a FDA approved, OTC medication named Devrom. It was created exactly for IBD. I think the best place to get it is on the Internet, as I couldn't find it at either a local drugstore or a chain. There's quite a lot of information on the Devrom website.
Her other suggestion was to use an anti-PU product in the toilet, before you evacuate. There are several products on the market, at least on the Internet, and one can make their own. Because I wanted to try it ASAP I bought essential oils of eucalyptus and peppermint, mixed about 20 to 30 drops with 1 teaspoon of rubbing alcohol ( to prevent separation) and 2 ounces of water. Put about four drops in the toilet. I can't say it's a perfect solution but it is a MAJOR improvement over the stench and certainly beats air freshener sprays. Next time I get some essential oils I'll pick up lavender or lemon instead of the peppermint. But that's just personal preference. There are other recipes on the Internet and of course you can purchase ready made products.
Anybody else have experience with either product? Once I get the devrom I will post whether I'm satisfied or not with it.
Wishing everybody a good and healthy new year, Janet
