my husband was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is at stage 1 but the Prolaris test (gene test) says it is aggressive.

An "active surveillance" approach may not be possible. Since radiation is not feasible because he has a j-pouch, surgery may be the only way to remove the cancer. Does anyone know anyone that has a j-pouch and had their prostate removed? According to most experts it is a very tricky surgery.

Any advice would be most welcome!
