I have a permanent end ileostomy that has prolapsed multiple times. The surgeon says that I do not have the scarring to hold the stoma in place. He said the only idea he has left is to tack it down in mesh, but that can cause bad infections. I tried to contact Cleveland Clinic to see if they had ideas, but they said I actually had to go to Ohio and for an appointment. Has anyone heard of any other ideas?
