So this is a pretty out-there question, but have any of the gals out there had issues with their pouches shifting over time to the point that they prolapse into the vaginal canal? My pouch feels like it is _right there_ and makes any kind of penetration really difficult and painful (sorry for the TMI). I don't have any unusual bowel symptoms, just chronic pain in my pelvis. I've been diagnosed with pelvic floor disfunction and am working on it with physio, but this feels like a physical blockage, not tight muscles. It feels like my pouch is pressing towards my girl parts. Thanks for your thoughts.

Sounds like it could be possible. I have a prolapse that was external prolapse I think prolapse can occur differently based on your anatomy. Also your pouch may lie closer to that area normally so that might be the case.
@duck11 I am having this issue. Right now, my pouch is pushing on the back vaginal wall. It's like a rectocle, but from the pouch instead. https://www.mayoclinic.org/dis...-causes/syc-20353414
About a year ago, I had a hysterectomy because I had a large uterine fibroid. At the time, the surgeons said scar tissue had fused my pouch to my uterus. So now, I'm thinking the pouch may be fused to the outside of the vaginal wall.
I can't seek treatment with my original colorectal surgeon because of insurance issues, but I'm going to pay out of pocket for a consult with him when he is back from vacation in a couple of weeks. I've tried to book with a couple of new doctors, but so far have not been able to get an appointment anytime soon.
At any rate, I'm really distressed and worried, and wondering if you'd be willing to share what's been happening with you since your post? DM is fine if you'd like to keep it more private.
Thanks, and I hope you're doing well.
