problems emptying, emptying hurts

i dread when 4:00 pm rolls around and my j-pouch kicks into high gear. Actually, I do feel like i am completely emptying.

Sometimes there isn't much there though? But I "feel" empty. I don't have to go again for another 1-2 hours.

But emptying just hurts a lot, and hurts for hours after each BM.

is this normal? 7 weeks out?

left message for nurse, but don't always get straight answer.

Have you been checked for a stricture? I had one after takedown and it hurt to go. But I felt like I wasn't empty. It felt like I had a bowling ball lodged in my butt for lack of a better description.

I appear to be at the same point you are. But I think I have a scar or wound right at the anus, where everything was re-attached. So when stool passes through, it just aggravates it tremendously. (I am seeing my doc on the matter). Also, my rectal area is raw/red. I only use water to clean myself but it's still very painful.
