What are you guys using vls#3 or visbiome? And why

My GI doc said visbiome is the product to use.
my pharmacist says vsl3 is better
who knows?
I don’t think the visbiome is doing anything for me.
I thought vsl3 was bought out by visbiome a few years ago?
Visbiome is most like (and perhaps is identical to) the product that got decent results in clinical trials. Confusingly this was done under the name “VSL #3.” The current VSL #3 product is a knockoff, pretty close but not identical (they paid a substantial legal settlement to the Visbiome folks). I use VSL #3 because my insurance covers it by name, and it’s not worth rocking the boat. VSL #3 is somewhat hard to find. There is essentially no reasearch that demonstrates the efficacy of a product under the name “Visbiome.”
