Need some help I have had 2 surgeries one in feb,2015 became septic and had to have most of my colon remove my 2nd surgery was may28th and that was to remove the rest of my colon and make my j-pouch about two weeks after that surgery I had the worst pressure I had to take Percocet every 4 hours to stop it was on that for about 3 weeks and then had sigmoidoscopy my doc found pouch -itis was on Cipro and Flagyl for 9 days then broke out in hives doc then put me on Augmentin 3 days later hives again in the mean time I am dropping pounds buy the day was 125 went to 104 in 4 weeks with all this the pressure never stops but it lessons but till This day I have pressure some days more then others nothing Else bothers me can anyone please tell me if this is normal

I think the pressure to which you are referring is anal pressure. The only times I experience unusual amounts/duration of anal pressure is when I have pouchitis. Once the pouchitis is eliminated, the anal pressure is gone. So, my suggestion is to have things checked out by your physician. Best wishes!
I had pressure from pelvic floor dysfunction then later from spasms of some sort -- pelvic floor PT helped. Following takedown -- Levsin helped. I guess you need to r/o badness first (pouchitis and the like).
