pregnancy and an ileostomy

Ive currently got an ileostomy, and hope after having children to have the j pouch procedure, but im not having any luck getting pregnant, can the one surgery where they remove the colon make it harder to get pregnant? Has anyone else had this trouble?

Any abdominal surgery can make it difficult to get pregnant. Other things that complicate the process are age and just your body - minus surgery you might still have had trouble.

The good news is that I carried two babies with a perm ileo - after IVF - and both were full term healthy babies.
