Pouchitis diet?

Is there a special diet for pouchitis? As mentioned previously, hubby taking flagyl and probiotics and has been regular food but switched to liquids and soft foods. What do you follow when you have pouchitis? I looked up on the internet and it said low fiber. I trust you guys more than what I read on the internet. Thank you.

Low sugar and low carbs. Sugar in particular creates a feeding frenzy for bad bacteria. With carbs the processed variety is what you should avoid. For the same reasons.
