How often should you get your pouch scoped? No issues going on, but you still need it checked right?

There is different opinions on this with different doctors but my surgeon told me to come see him annually for a scope. No real prep is needed....I just do an enema 3 hours prior to the visit. No sedation is needed either. It's real quick.
