Hi

Had a J-pouch done in 1988, and it worked fairly well until recently

Recently I was diagnosed with pouch prolapse ( moderate distal pouch body prolapse ). The doctor's advise was to live with and at the time I thought that maybe I could. I no longer feel that it is possible. Sometimes it does seem almost manageable, but often times it is very difficult. Recently I've had my most difficult time with it. It kept me up all night feeling like I need empty, then I can hardly empty anything. The abdominal bloating was quite severe with pain and an occasional cramping. I fasted and it has improved today but with residual abdominal pain. Have an appointment with a surgeon at the end of November. I'm looking for a repair if possible

Wondering if others have similar and how you may have dealt with it. I'm not sure now what I should eat

Thanks Bob
