Post-Surgical Nausea?

Hello all,

Exactly three weeks ago I had the second of three surgeries to create my JPouch. I have been doing well with the loop ileo and as far as I can tell I have no symptoms of blockage. The last few days, however, I have suddenly become very nauseas. I am wondering if this is something urgent that I should consult a doctor about, or if this is normal?

possibly you may be getting dehydrated. Be sure to drink some electrolyte beverages.. but not sugary filled ones like gatoraide.

Also, are you on any different drugs?

Maybe try eating smaller meals? It took my body a long time to remember how to process food. I think those days without food when you are post-opt NPO can really mess with your system. Just take it slow and chew, chew, chew!
