3 weeks is a lot...I usually have bad nausea the first few days (then again morphine give me nausea too) but it dissipates by the end of the 1st week.

Could it be the anesthetic? Any pain meds that you are taking? Something different that you are doing other than the obvious???

Dehydration can also give you nausea and dizziness + headaches, the shakes and weakness in the legs etc

When I would get post op nausea more than a week post op it would signal the begining of an ileus (blockage)...but if your pouch is working fine then no other ideas.

Hope you find the cause of it and get it taken care of.

If you are past the postoperative ileus and pouch is emptying properly the nausea is not due to any transit issue.  If you had some kind of partial blockage you would know it from pain.  If it's just nausea and no pain or discomfort, something else is causing it.  What meds are you taking?  I would suggest trying Pepto Bismol which will calm the burping and gas and probably relieve the nausea.
