positive results from strictureplasty?

I am having surgery to remove a ring of scar tissue from one side of my outlet connection. The surgeon is removing this and dropping down healthy tissue from that side of pouch and stitching.

Has anyone had this done with good results? I’m pretty nervous as I’ve had so many issues with a recurring stricture at my anastomoses connectiion and I’ve had chronic anal fissures for over a year due to this also I’ve never been offered anything but manual finger dilations under anesthesia up until this point
