Please use the report icon to report offensive posts

As some of you have noticed, we have been under attack again over the past few weeks by a person using multiple screen names. His posts are becoming increasingly foul and threatening and directed toward me and other members. If I have deleted the posts before you saw them, you are fortunate. This is the same person who has been bothering the people on this site for many, many years. He had his surgery in 1988 and lives in the Chicago area, but often registers as being in other locations. His IP address has been blocked numerous times, so he must be using an IP address generator to fool the software here.

His claims are that we are repeatedly banning him from this site simply because he dislikes his j-pouch, but that is far from the truth. You know that many, many people come here to complain and express frustration. But, he does not want help or advice. His sole purpose is to try to prevent anyone else from ever having a colectomy (ileostomy is no answer either according to him). He has never been able to come to terms with the trade offs of having a j-pouch (more than 3 BMs a day and not being able to sleep 8-10 hours).

We have given him more than enough chances to behave and be a useful member, but he always degenerates into name calling and a campaign against the j-pouch.

That's the background. So, if you see these nasty posts, do not reply to them. Please use the report icon in the lower right hand corner. It is an "!"in a yellow triangle. This will send the post to both Bill J and I. Private Message reports only go to Bill J, as I have not been getting them.
