how are you? OK this is the 3rd time trying to write to you!! dont know why but as soon as I amalmost finished it just disapears on me, urrr very frustrating. I wanted to inform you that I am doing quite well now, although I had about 2weeks ago an abstruction, omg so much pain I called the clinic and said they would rather see me but I told them that I was in way to much pain to drive to Cleveland. In akron they did a catscan and inserted a NG tube which I think is the most barbaric thing I have ever experienced. Now I am just fine but Did Have to stay 8 days which was not very fun but I knew I had to do what I had to do! When the MDS do there round inthe morning like around 5:30 or 6:00 am I was told that my jpouch was not in the traditional position its horizontal instead of it being vertical she explained that at that time that was the best she could do and mentioned that she may have to go in again and do surgery to make it vertical. My reaction inside was WHAT!!!! why didny she just do it the wright way in the first place. Its not for sure she explained but now its still in the back of my mind. Not only that but the moment she even mentioned surgery that was the only thing I focused on and basically herd nothing else. I mean its working just fine I think I wouldnt know otherwise sinse this is my first jpouch but I do think would It be working even better if itwhere in the proper position vertical? I just do not know what to think about the whole thing.mlike I said why didnt she do it wright in the frst place i just dont understand. You know this is time out of my life, more money for sore (that I dont have)(Personally I think she should not even charge me) more time away from work, I mean really do these people think all I do all day is sit around I dont I want to do stuff even if its just working around the house. Do you agree with me or am I taking it the wrong way? please be honest believe me you wont hurt my feelings. I see her 9-3 @ 4:00 I guess i will find out then. Have you ever herd of such a thing that the jpouch is sideways and not up and down? Even the RN that I had for that day thought that was strange too, but I know they cant say too much for the sake of possibly losing their jobs, I understand. But I just cant wrap my mind around the fact that this has happened, I mean I am not sure if its a goood thing or a bad thing who knows. I just dont want something in the longrungo really bad because of how it is placed. Jan or anyone else thanks so much for reading my post, any insight or information you have would greatly be appreciated!!!! Like said i feel just fine but could it be even better? And why did she do it that way was she runningnbehind on another patient for surgery or what just not sure what to think about the whole situation. again thank you for any responses LJK
