Yes very painful.such a shame as a great pizza.
Before my veggie days, it never bothered me but everyone is different. Maybe you can make your own pizza, I love doing that
If pizza is all I eat for a meal it turns out to be a miserable time however if I have 2 slices and eat something else I find it tolerable and I can really enjoy the taste as pizza is one of my favorites.......I tend to stay away from pepperoni and lean towards tomato basil.....
I have no problems eating pepperoni or any other kind of pizza but I do try to limit my consumption of carbs. Also, I have tendency to binge eat with pizza and ice cream so I really try to pick my spots. I was able to recently limit myself to trying one slice of pizza when my firm ordered pies from a new local pizzeria. But it's not easy for me to do. I was helped by the fact that the new local place was average by the standard of local New Haven style pizza, which is world famous. If I go to Sally's, Pepe's or Modern, the so called "Holy Trinity" of New Haven style pizza, I am not likely to be able to stop at one slice.
Some New Haven legislators have proposed a bill that will soon make pizza Connecticut's official state food. Long overdue:
I eat pizza all the time with no issues. I generally just do meat, no veggies.
