Has anyone tried pelvic floor physical therapy post takedown? I’m about three months post takedown and I’ve had two sessions. It’s supposed to help with the pelvic pressure (recital and bladder) I started to experience shortly after takedown. Just wondering if anyone else out there has had success with it.
I’m also still having around 15 BM daily. That’s down from 15-20.
Thanks in advance!

I've done it and I still do many pelvic exercises. The purpose is to get your sphincter muscles to be strong enough to hold back . 3 months is too soon to say anything. Some folks get stable in 1 month and some take upto 1 year. For the first 3 months I was going like 10 times. It came down to 5-6 in the next 3 and its between 4-6. Depends on what I eat. Also have you tried using pysillium husk ? It does help alot in bulking up the stool. Same is with imodium. Ask you doc about supplementing fiber. It'll tighten things up. But it takes some time for the body to adjust to it so dont worry if you get too much gas initially.

Yes infact I would say it even matter what form of pysllium husk you're taking. I take raw form with no additive substance 100% natural. Many people prefer the orange flavoured one which has sweetners and colors which I didnt find as effective as raw form. Also you should look into foods you're consuming . I was going 10 times because I was trying to bulk and gained some 20-25 pounds in a few months. You should avoid sugars completely for first few months specially artificial ones. I had a sweet tooth and everytime I had a chocolate it killed me. Use natural honey instead. Also I found oatmeal, bananas , sweet potataoes, chicken , egg whites , breads , veggies like (cauliflower, broccoli, spinach ) fully cooked, peanut butter (smooth) very good for my pouch. Fresh salads used to kill me and still do so I steer clear of them too.
