Your best off just trying it, because everyone is different. I'd start with a small amount though and chew really well. Personally, the only food I avoid is really hot curry (which I used to love). I can eat everything else, although string beans do pass through me quicker than other veg. Beans (lentils, black eyed beans, kidney beans etc) literally no problems at all, in fact sir fry Mondays (in our house) where have stir fry pack and usually a can of lentils mixed in too, is usually my best most comfortable day/night.
Peas no problem either, but mange tout is similar to string beans... Quicker transit times. Like I say.. Your mileage may vary, but in my experience is worth persevering as your body may get used to it, as long as it doesn't make you really bad of course.
