Hi, Just wondered if anyone out there with a KP ever gets pain during periods. For the last year and a half I have been getting terrible stabbing pains in my lower left abdomen for 3 or 4 days during my period. I also get sickness/nausea and very fluid output from my pouch, with lots of wind. The pain is so bad its like I'm about to give birth! I've been seeing a Gynie surgeon, but they have decided a hysterectomy would be too complicated and dangerous with my KP. (although I have seen on here that there are people in US who have had the op without any problems!) The Docs are treating it as a Gynie problem, but I wondered if it could be related to my pouch. I have crohns disease, but (touch wood) have not had a flare up since 1984. Would appreciate any thoughts.
