Pain at scar site?

Hi All,
I was just wondering if any of you guys ever experience this or have any thoughts or input about it. For awhile I have been getting sharp, stinging pain near my biggest scar/old stoma site. It happens when I sneeze sometimes, and when I move a certain way. It doesn't last long, but I wince and it is extremely uncomfortable and I would never want to have the feeling all the time, that would be UNBEARABLE. Anyways, any thoughts or ideas? Is this normal? It just bothers me a lot.

I had that and I Aldo would get blockages at the site? When I had gall bladder surgery I asked the surgeon to see what was going on in there! and he found that my intestine at the stoma site had adhered to the ab wall.mHe freed it and I never had that feeling again at the site.

Same here. Didn't happen all the time but enough to cause significant discomfort. Once the adhesion was cut, the problem ceased.

I had that after doing ab exercises. Sometimes, random and sharp pain that lasted for a second or less.

Just the other night, one of my little scars felt horrible when I moved, so I just quit moving.

I can't tell from your surgery dates, but if you're a teenager, any new sports?

Maybe a hernia or maybe just sore muscles? Next time you're at your Doctor, I'd ask about it.
