Hello all, I m new here, first post.
I had my reversal done 4 weeks ago, during my recovery from my first surgery I had no mayor problems, I had the bag for almost three months, i really thought the worst was over, little that i knew, although I am optimistic and believe thing will get better, I started reading posts here and I have learned quiet a bit, I thank the J-Pouch community here.
The problem I am encountering is for the most part anal pain, is no the burning I felt the first days, this is pain that starts at bed time, my doctor prescribed Metrodinazole for 14 days thinking is pouchitis, she told me if things don't get better she will do a scope, the antibiotic appeared to be working at first, however, the pain come back every other night, I take two Tylenol and it help, I also have difficulty urinating,I was given Flomax for that and it did help, I feel that when I empty my bladder the pain subsides, however, my urologist did a Cystoscopy and found blockage in the urethra and now I am scheduled for laser surgery, I am a little skeptical about it, I wonder if someone had this or something similar, please let me know, thanks.
