Pain around old stoma site/low grade temp

Hi,
I had my second take down 1 month ago and was doing well. A few days ago I started having pain and swelling around my old stoma site. I am also having flu-like symptoms (very tired, achy, slight temperature, etc). It's not a blockage because I still have consistent output. Could this be an abscess? Infection?

Has anyone experienced this? I have a call into the surgeon.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

yes speak to the surgeon asap. Those are some abscess symptoms. But you also could have sort of a partial blockage. But with the temp..you definitely need to rule out an abscess.
