Ozone enemas?

After anal damage and short bowel syndrome following J pouch surgery, in which food pours through me, I have been put on TPN. However the diarrhea does not stop, with the result my doctor has asked me to stop eating temporarily. If I have no colon and short bowel, why would not eating change anything when I started eating again? If I can.
Meanwhile my integrative medicine MD called me up about trying ozone enemas for IBD. Has anyone heard of this or know how they work?

I'm not sure how ozone treatments for IBD would work since you have a j-pouch and theorhetically no longer have IBD, right?

I still have UC/cuffitis as evidced in my pathology reports. What is an Ozone enema any way?
