Lab,

I had both my knees replaced in June 2009 (avascular necrosis). Now I feel great. No pain or swelling. Full range of motion and complete confidence in movements (joint not bowel!). The only thing I have is a little stiffness, but it goes away after a little warm-up.

But >>> You've got to do your PT. It's going to hurt. A lot. But grind through it. Every rep and exercise that is required. Further, when the therapist manipulates your knee ... forcing it in certain directions -- especially straight, tough it out. The pain is about as high as I've had to deal with in my surgically-centric life, but it pays dividends.

Good luck,
Michael
