Oops! Forgot the clear liquids!

I have a scope scheduled for 11:30 tomorrow and I forgot that I was supposed to have clear liquids for 24 hours (thought it was 12 hours). If I drink a really big cup of coffee (no cream) at 6:00 tomorrow morning will I be cleaned out in time for the exam?

It depends on where the scope is going. If it's just a pouchoscopy then a Fleet's enema before leaving could clear things up nicely (that's my only prep). Give the doctor's office a call in the AM and perhaps you can get some reassurance or an alternate prep. The scope can rinse things off, within reason.
