Hi All,
Just wanted to check in. We are a week and one day away from my husband's first of two surgeries to remove his colon/rectum and construction of his J-Pouch. If ever there was a time I wish time would fly by, now would be it. I wish we were 6 months plus into this journey. I will continue to check in and keep you updated.

I remember thinking the same thing (about being 6 months in the future). It’s a journey alright and the best advice I’ve taken is not to measure progress day to day, but rather week to week and then month to month. Best wishes!
