As long as you can keep down fluids and stay well hydrated with manageable pain then the ER can't do much for you. You probably should limit yourself to liquids until it clears up on its own - hopefully soon.

Sounds like walking could help... Like when you first come out of hospital you walk to wake the bowel.  Maybe the anti spasmodic trashed you rhythm?

Yes I think it was definitely the drug. The problem is I've been eating soup for near to 3 weeks now, other than the few times I tried solid food, I'm not sure how long I can go living on soup and Boost....?! 

Are there any other helpful thoughts on this? The last 2 days, in addition to the bloating/nausea, I have had horrible, stabbing pain at the site of my ileostomy scar. It comes in waves and I can barely tolerate it. I haven't gone to the hospital because it passes in a couple of hours and I am still passing a little bit of food. Still only eating fluids, and losing weight...anyone? Is this still bowel obstruction territory? I saw my family dr. who aid to try fluids for one more week before we go to the next step, but that was before stabbing pain was in the mix. It has been 1 month of this now., with bad pain only the last 3 days.

heating pad..drinking lots of liquid and go to the doctor if it keeps up. Obstructions are nasty.

You probably need to be seen, as this has been going on too long, and you now have intermittent severe pain. FYI, the ileostomy site is the most common site for obstruction post op.
