Just joined the group. I've been reading all the comments and am feeling much better about my condition, because it seems I'm going thru the same experiences. I hope to gain some good knowledge a well as add some. Let me get my houghts together and I will Post later about my problems some things I've done, and some things I'm totally confused about. Hope we can help each other. I'll comment later.

Thank you. I have already benefitted from being a member and it has only been a day. Sometimes reading this site can provide a grim outlook but in sure there are many success stories too.

I agree that there are some grim realities on this site, but also lots of people do have pretty good success with j-pouches. Like I've heard others say, the people who are not having issues are not the ones likely to post.

I was afraid that with my scars and frequent trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night that I would have trouble dating again.
But that's not the case. Women still find me attractive, even with the scars and the latenight pooping.
I mean, there's still women that find me extremely annoying, but my J pouch surgery has nothing to do it.
