I was diagnosed with a tennis ball sized ovarian cyst last week. The ob/gyn tried to remove the cyst and both ovaries laparoscopically but after taking a look said she saw a ton of scar tissue and adhesions and decided to wait. She wasn't even able to identify where my overlies were for sure. She also said my j pouch looked over extended. I am now waiting for an appointment with a surgeon who specializes in female oncology cases. Although the doctor said the tissue looked healthy. Does anyone out there have problems with messy scar tissue and needing surgery? I am really nervous and worried!

yes. I was advised by my gyn and urogyn to have colorectal surgeon and gyn work together in operating room. In my case, plan was that colorectal would open, rip through adhesions, hold the small intestine, then gyn would do her work, then colorectal finishes off. You might want to speak to your colorectal surgeon to see what he/she thinks.
good luck
