motility gas and new K pouch

I thought I would.start another thread for this question...

Is there anyone out there that have had gut dysmotility probs and now has a K pouch?

II'm a newbie with so.e problems. Sharon has been A TON of help with that.

I am wondering if anyone has positional difficulty with draining their K pouch such as...

1. Pain or inability to Cath when standing.

2.feeling like you may pass out from inserting Cath

3. Post op ileus (if so how did you know?)

4. Very high pitched sloshing sound with pain that isn't gas.

5. How do you deal with the pain caused by dysmotility?

Oh also how far do you insert your Cath. And do you have to get into strange positions to get gas to pass thru Cath and does it hurt?
