Well, according to my home care nurse, I may need a stomal revision (AGH!). I've had a small hole at the bottom of my stoma that despite our best efforts, just won't close. I never mentioned it because I was hoping it would heal on its own, but its not turning out that way. I have an osteomy nurse coming to my house on Wednesday to asses and advise. Although not big, it's loosing stool to leak into my abdominal cavity, not good. I'll also get her to address the issue of the flange not sticking (thanks for the advice everyone!), oh boy, why can't anything just work the way it's suppose to? I gotta tell you, I'm getting sick of surgery, I'm keeping everything crossed with the hopes I can avoid yet another visit to the OR, I'll keep you posted,
