I've found Metamucil useful every day since my surgery, but it won't do anything other than bulk up the stool and give it some structure. I think of it as glue. Remission from what?

I've been reading article after article about people getting into remission from colitis using Metamucil and one of the articles going as far as saying that it's as effective as mesalamine. I think everyone is full of beans. Lol
