Mesalamine induced acute Intolerance syndrome

Has anyone experienced this, or heard of people experiencing this side effect with suppository form? I had it many years ago taking oral. Seems my current symptoms are reminiscent of that experience. But then, as now, hard to distinguish disease symptoms from drug effects.

Mesalamine intolerance is not common, but it is a real thing. I would imagine that if you developed an intolerance to the oral form, the same would be true for the rectal forms too. You probably will need to switch to steroid suppositories.
