So... I was on Cymbalta (an antidepressant that happens to also help with pain) for quite some time. It went generic in the US this January, which sounds wonderful.... until I found out that the GENERIC was going to cost me about $200 a month. I had been getting samples from my Dr. for free so this was a big change.

So I stopped taking that drug (even used an approved taper off and wean off method) and I had HORRIBLE withdrawal symptoms. That's when I found out about all the side effects of that drug.

Now I am off of Cymbalta, and my pouch pain has returned. A friend of mine uses medicinal marijuana for rheumatoid arthritis and it seems to help.

Has anyone ever tried this?

Most importantly, there are so many types of marijuana out there, what works best for what we have?

I also feel anxious and sad, overall just exhausted (mostly from frequent night bathroom visits).. I just need something more natural that works. Something I can quit without creepy unnatural withdrawal symptoms.

I hope someone can help. I don't want to be sleepy or hungry all the time, either. Fortunately, my weight is plenty healthy!

Thanks !
