Medical alert bracelet

I think i read somewhere that getting one would be a good idea. Does anyone have one and/or did your doc recommend it?

I do need to get one especially since I am allergic to 3 antibiotics as well as having a j-pouch. I checked on Amazon to get an idea of what I might want to consider.
