Also forgot to mention, there’s no stricture. All my pushing has caused a moderate bladder prolapse. I’ve got to get this problem fixed before I end up with more prolapse issues.

They make Valium suppositories- that helped me relax my pelvic floor - or a small oral dose (2.5mg).

Thanks so much for replying! I’ll bring that up to my doctor. I’d love to try something like that!

@Kh1988 Although some surgeons do a good job with “medical” issues related to J-pouches, gastroenterologists tend to do a better job (when they are appropriately knowledgeable about pouches). Even Botox injections would more often be done by a gastroenterologist. Perhaps there’s a local GI who can help, or (if not) who might know who to send you to at Mayo. Good luck!

That’s good advice, thank you! I don’t have a GI right now, so I may try to find one here that can help me. If they can’t, then maybe at Mayo

Sorry for your troubles! Until you find what you are looking for, I would recommend a SQAUTTY POTTY. I heard about that today on YOUTUBE from another J-and she said that helps empty out her J-pouch.

My bladder seems ok, no changes with it really. It’s mild/moderately prolapsed but has stayed pretty stable. Trying very hard to not strain and make it worse! Hope all is well with you
