Lower back pain and butt burn

I am wondering if I have pouchitis or cuffitis. I have lower back pain and it wakes me up at night. I have been seeking help through my chiropractor and masseuse. It only helps for a short time. I also have off and on butt burn. On the days that I go to the bathroom ten or more times I have a small amount of blood when I wipe. I go to the bathroom more at night. Total times a day range from 7 to 12 times per day. I do not have a fever. Oh, my back pain is on the left side. Any thoughts?

You sound like me a number of years ago, when I had active cuffitis and was finally diagnosed with enteropathic arthritis. Sounds like you have sacroiliitis, a hallmark of enteropathic arthritis. Would you say it is more upper buttock pain than low back pain? If so, then definitely in the sacroiliac joint. It can be one sided, both sides, or alternate. Pain is worse at rest.

Fast forward to today. All under control after starting Humira, and now Simponi.
