I couldn't reorder my last loperamide bottle from Amazon (96 pills). The product was taken down. After looking into this, it seems the FDA has limited packaging to 24 pills (2 mg apiece), individually wrapped. What I read was that internet suppliers are supposed to voluntarily limit 1 box per order. Ebay still has some large bottles for sale, but at 5x the cost of what I was paying.
Has anyone found a way around this or a good place to buy? Thanks,

You should see if your doc will write you a prescription for it, depending on your insurance, you may be able to get a 90 tabs for cheaper price.

GoodRX has 60 tablets for $13 depending on what pharmacy you use. Best way to go!
It's better to get Lomotil script; its very similar, (but I feel it works better). Get a script written for 120 tabs/ month with refills, so they last longer than 30 days. (Cuz even the generic is expensive now, but with a discount card it's more affordable.) Jst a thght.

That may be true on internet orders, but definitely not for in store purchasing. Rite Aid is currently running a buy one, get the second one 50% off on 24 softgel packages of Imodium.

Lomotil (diphenoxylate/atropine) also an anti-diarrheal, but is different from Imodium (loperamide) and has a different mechanism of action. This article explains the differences, the most notable of which is that Lomotil exerts greater side effects on the user (feelings of loopiness and sluggishness):

In my opinion as a past user of both, the efficacy vs. side effect "cost benefit analysis" weighs very heavily in favor of loperamide aka imodium.
I just ordered a bottle of loperamide from Amazon that has 96 pills for $15. It doesn't appear there are any limits of number of bottles you can buy.

You're welcome! It wasn't available last week. Any amount of pills over 24 hasn't been available for a long time. I was really excited to see it! I didn't see any bottles with 200 pills which was what I used to buy.
