life changing- first vaca since pouch

My husband and I took a trip to the Grand Canyon and i couldn’t help but think, “wow, there is no way in heck I could have done this last year.” All I did was take an Imodium steadily thought it the day and I was able to take the 3 hour van tour to the Grand Canyon without having to worry about bathroom breaks, accidents, etc. It was amazing. It’s incredible what medicine can do, and when it works, it can be life changing!

Here’s to many more years of vacations and adventures, colitis free!

Congrats on a successful vacation!

I’m scheduled to have my takedown surgery next month and I’m already excited to plan a trip for next year. It’s been so long since I’ve gone and vacation and have been able to truly relax... without racing to a bathroom
