As I have discussed in an other thread I don't like the newl layout so I will take this as my Q to move on.
Thanks for all the helpfully info over the last 2 years but now that I have returned to my old life and 90% of the time forget I have a pouch till I see the scar I'll move on and let someone who need this space have it.

Yes, it is different and yes, it takes time to get used to...like most new things.
I am trying to not be psyco-rigid and get used to the fact that things change (usually the things that we enjoy most or use the most) and learn how to change with them.
This is me trying to get used to the 'newness'.

I don't think it's that bad. Just like any change it just needs getting used to. I like the "like" feature.
i am completely confused hope i figure out what to do....i use site all the time..presently no idea whats going on..lol..
Remember the transition from Windows 7 to Windows 8? By comparison, this one was a piece of cake. Although there were changes, I had few problems making the adjustment.

Well I like it, I'm not so young (62), but I am always ready to try new things. It has a look similar to Facebook in someways. Give it a chance, I say. If you don't like it now, maybe it will grow on you.
i am one who is willing to try..if its logical for us technically handicapped persons ..i will figure it out too!!if i get stuck on something after trying a bit i will ask!!!but i have no plans to leave this valuable site..
I think if you just poke around and click on things here and there, you will discover that this format has its own intuitive nature. They say it is good for the aging brain to challenge it on a regular basis. So, this should be good for us. And, if it makes Bill J's life simpler (and less expensive), bravo to that.
You can't please everyone. Just remember why we are here, to support each other!

While I have been a member here for about 6 years, I have not "checked in" in about a year. Coincidentally I came back on the day the new site was launched. I love it! After exploring it for a while, I find it easy to use and user friendly, (and I'm an old fart). I'm sorry to see that a few have decided to leave because of this change.

i am already enjoying the posts directly to my email..and so far it is user friendly..
as to anyone leaving because of changes they clearly are not someone in need of the site to begin with!!!! i for one would do anything to keep using site..it has been a god sent to me and so many others..
