Leaking

I'm about 17 years from my j-pouch surgery. I am experiencing some leaking that seems to be more than normal. I don't think I have pouchitis. I've had it before and it doesn't feel like this.

As I was putting calmoseptine on my rear end, I happened to notice a ridge inside my rectum. It seems to be all the way around. I had my rectum removed, so I'm assuming this is the line where they attached everything together again. It's just barely inside the anus (not to be gross).

Could I have a stricture that needs to be stretched which could be contributing to the leaking?

Definitely possible. Can you easily insert your finger past it? If not, more likely it is a stricture.
