my last two loops my stoma was very small with a distal that was not very noticeable underneath it, my new one is also a loop and the distal underneath is very large, its about 3/4 the size of the stoma. Ostomy nurses said nothing is wrong with it and some just look different. I don't like it. anyone else have one of these???
I have a permanent one that my stoma nurse thought was a loop as it spews downward vs out of the top. I hope that made sense. It's smaller than my loop one was. Even though it is less than perfect it works much better than my loop. This is not what you asked but I am wondering if the direction the spew is coming out of your current one might be the difference.
