ladies...help

So I had my second surgery the end of July and just had my take down end of October. Ever since my surgery in July I have only had my period once. I still get cramps and back pain like I do right before my period but then nothing! I had a CT scan before my surgery in October and I had 2 ovarian cysts which one ruptured. I know its normal for surgery to screw with your menstrual cycles but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

This is completely normal. After my first surgery I did not have my period for 3 months!

I'm not speaking from the pouch expierence I'm making up my mind whether to have the pouch or permanent ileostomy but I know it took at least 4 months for my period to come back after my sub total colectomy in February and now some months I so t have them and the. Other months I could have them twice a month. I think it's part of the healing process if your energies vitamins etc are needed else where the. Your body concentrate on that and your periods will go. I know that's how it was explained to me. When they come back you know your body is almost heal. Jus hang in there soon you will be complaining that you don't want them lol.
