Hi peeps! Was wondring if anyone has tried the keto and if it worked ok for you. Been on it for a few days, doing well, except starting to notice more watery stools and increased butt burn...seems without the carbs to soak up the acid in the stools might be a problem..

Any tips greatly appreciate it!

I follow a semi-keto diet.  I try as hard as I can to do zero or no carbs because I feel I have more energy, my joints ache less, I think more clearly and just overall have a healthier outlook.  HOWEVER it does increase frequency and butt burn.  When things get uncomfortable I have a carb meal or increase my carb intake.  I also have to make sure I don't lose too much weight.  I'm down about 20 kg and don't want to lose any more.

I do not have IBD and have my pouch as a result of an extremely lazy colon which decided to take a permanent holiday therefore necessitating its removal.
