K pouch and Aderall (methamphetamine salts)

Oh poor you! So sorry to hear. I swore off raw bananas (blended in a smoothie I can do) and raisins.

Another bowel obstruction today. All I had eaten was a piece of meat and corn chips. I am afraid it may not have been the Adderal after all. Not sure now. Put myself on Cipro 2x a day and sticking with liquids for a day if I can. Had same issue 2 years ago and it cleared up with Cipro.

A year before that I had to go to the hospital and have a baloon dilation by Dr. Launer at the entrance the the kock pouch. What a hassle. Worried in Placerville as I am going on vaca for 2 weeks too. Thanks for your reply Vanessa? Jeanne

What does an obstruction feel like? I thought I had one once but I didn't once the small bowel barium showed no issues. Can you get one done before vacation?

Obstruction for me feels like this: Start having abdominal pain and it radiates all over the abdomen. Abdomen is very quiet. The pain becomes intense like a knife stabbing me then it lets up and then it starts again within 3-4 minutes. Can barely walk. Pain is not so severe I start crying but must put tube in immediately. Since the bowel moves in peristalsis (off and on) a small amout of relief is gained when it isn't moving. Then the longest I have had one is 20 minutes and when it comes thru I have a lot of stool in the glove I attach while laying on my left side.

Sometimes walking back and forth in the house can get things moving much faster than lying still. I was free from problem yesterday and will watch today still on Cipro.
