I just had my appt at Mayo. Jan, you were right, of course, they prescribed me the Nifedipine. Also, I asked for the B&O suppositories too. He said I can use them together. I decided to fill it there at Mayo and they actually had the suppositories so I'm guessing I got lucky. So right now, suppositories on board and waiting on them to make the Nifedipine. He talked about the sphincterotomy but thinks its not for me bcuz my stool can be so watery that I'd have a lot of leakage problems. He also thinks that some of the pain is superficial abrasions from frequent bowel movements. The final thing said is there isn't much he can do unless I am considering going back to a permanent ileostomy. Which is obviously a no.. Well, that's all for now. Thanks for the support.
