Hi to all

The last 2 days i notice blood in my stools but only 1 or 2 time out of 12 times per day( i have approx 12 bms/24 hr ) the rest of the time its fine and no blood at all.

I dont have fever n'or cramps however i have been taking coal for intestinal gas the last 3 days and thats when its started. Could this be a reason?

this has never happened to me before . does anyone know what it could be and should I worry?

I have had this issue from time to time and it is due to straining during a bowel movement. When you notice blood, is it usually when straining to get the stool out?

It could be cuffitis so if it continues please call your doctor.

Probably coincidental with the charcoal. However, best to stop it and see if your symptoms resolve. If not, you need to follow up with your doctor.
