So last time I had a job interview I cancelled because it was just way too far from home. Patience has paid off I believe. I have an interview tomorrow morning at 9am and it is doing what I do (work in an hvac office) and 2 miles from home. Wish me luck, I have been feeling better each day since I quit my stressful job in December!

Holly, that is great! I hope it pans out to be an offer. I have never regretted giving up the stressful job I had, working in a hospital. It was OK until I started my family, but then I just felt like I was being pulled in too many directions. I knew when I was crying on the way to work, that it was just too much, even part time. Between the commute, shift work, a stressful job, and coming home to housework and kids, I was going nuts.

I am so glad we never really depended on two paychecks (kept our cost of living on the low side). Now I work out my home and make my own hours. A dream job...

Working a cople miles from home has to be pretty good too!!

Good luck!

The job went great today. Seems very low stress compared to my last job. Went to see surgeon yesterday for follow up , go back in 6mths. Hope all stays calm if not he gave me flagyl to have on hand. Bathroom in the bldg is away from others but they don't have a fan Frowner thankfully I ate light today and came home for lunch used my own bathroom and went back to work. Hoping I can keep this routine up. thanks for all the positive feedback!!
It is a challenge Roberta to work in a busy office. These last few months off of work has really helped me to learn how my j-pouch functions. I know I for sure I can't eat very much during the day or I will have an active bathroom day. So I eat a good (small) dinner , small breakfast and hardly anything for lunch. So far my first 3 days have gone well. I hope it keeps up. How are you doing?
